February 6, 1953: Snoopy's Thought Bubbles Return
It's been a few months since Snoopy had thought balloons. They still have the speech balloon tail. (If I remember correctly, one strip so far has had the standard "thought balloon" tail, with all the others having a tapering speech balloon tail.)
The contents of the bubble is more typically Snoopy this time, dissatisfied with the world of dogness.

December 8, 1952: Charlie Brown changes his shirt
It is rather a long time to go on wearing the same shirt. But the other characters have their own distinctive looks, including Violet, so it's really unfair to pick on the kid for this.
I wonder what it was that caused Schulz to decide on that distinctive zig-zag pattern, which is not a style of shirt that I am aware of as ever being popular, or at least not other than in the sense of referencing Peanuts.

October 8, 1952: Sick and Tired of Always Being the Bassoon
Another strip in which a character reacts to something undepicted that's just happened off-camera. Fairly funny I guess.
