Are you suggesting Schulz was being sexist here? I think his joke's plays off the idea that men walk on the curbside to protect women from cars, splashes of mud from vehicles, and the like.
ReplyDeleteShultz mined a lot of humor out of kids trying and failing to intuit the strange ways of adults.
